Punta Gorda/Charlotte Couty Airport – PGD

Located off of Florida’s southwest coast between Sarasota and Ft. Myers, the Punta Gorda/Charlotte Couty Airport offers nonstop air service to more than 50 destinations. At the Bailey Terminal, you’ll find several amenities to help you and your family get comfortable. If you need something to do to pass the time, check out the Flybrary Book Exchange at the north end of the terminal in arrivals. The Flybrary is a 20-foot space with 14 shelves of books that you can take with you or borrow while you wait.

For nursing mothers, there’s a comfortable and clean Mother’s Room available for use. You’ll find a changing table, a comfy chair, a power outlet, a side table, and antibacterial. The door to this small room locks for extra security and privacy. Find the Mother’s Room past security screeching at the south end of the terminal.

To get to the Punta Gorda/Charlotte Couty Airport, take I-75 North and go south from Siesta Key to the airport. The route takes about one hour and 26 minutes, but for a lovely airport with great amenities and service, it’s worth it!
