The location is ideal for those who want to explore the local area. It's less than a mile away from Crescent Village, where guests can enjoy a variety of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. Crescent Beach and Point of Rocks are less than a 2-minute walk away, providing easy access to the beach and crystal-clear waters. Siesta Key Village and Siesta Key Beach are also just a short drive away.

The Abalone is designed to cater to guests' every need. The property features two private cabana rooms, perfect for those who want to relax in the shade or enjoy a peaceful moment to themselves. This vacation rental duplex offers eight bedrooms and six full bathrooms, offering ample space for up to 24 guests. The sleeping arrangements consist of six king beds, two queen beds, two queen sofa sleepers, and four twin chair sofa sleepers, all with linens provided for your convenience. The Abalone is also equipped with two full kitchens and all of the amenities needed to prepare a delicious meal. For added convenience and peace of mind, the property also features two private garages, with a total capacity of four cars. "The Abalone could not have been a more perfect spot for my friend's bachelorette in Siesta Key! We were steps from the beach for a perfect walk every morning, had a gorgeous pool patio to enjoy, and the house was so beautifully clean and equipped with anything we needed. We were a 10 minute drive to Siesta Key Village and walking distance to coffee shops, bars and restaurants. 10/10 recommend!

"We had a wonderful time. There was some issues with the elevator, however, they were resolved quickly. The beach was very close. The transportation to other areas of Siesta Key was very accessible. Having two pools, one for the children and one for adults was fantastic. I would suggest spraying for mosquitoes. They were annoying. Would recommend highly.

"This home was immaculate. We have a large family and rented the entire unit! It was beyond our expectation. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping! The pool was very nice! The staff was superb, from leaving birthday cupcakes for me to texting/emailing to check on our stay! You guys were wonderful!

"We gathered a family of 12 adults and 3 children to celebrate our mother, grandmother, great grandmother's 90th birthday. We stayed in both Units 1032 and 1034. Location was great, and the places were very clean and spacious, enough for all of us to hang out in one unit. I would like to see better kitchen tools…one frying pan that was awful, one sheet pan that was not useable without tinfoil, the kitchen could use a good restock, definitely pots and pans, and a cocktail shaker would also be nice. The biggest disappointment was the dryer in unit 1034. The dryer did not work, and we did not find out until Thursday. We wanted to wash all the pool, beach towels that they suggest you do, to help. We had to run all our wet belongings down to the other unit to dry our things. We were told they would send someone on Friday (day before check out), and no one showed up. These are not deal breakers for using Cottages On The Key in the future, but hopefully these recommendations will help to make a beautiful vacation even better.
