This property is registered as a vacation rental with the City of Sarasota with Registration Number VR23-00018. Due to City of Sarasota vacation rental code, this property must be rented once during a seven (7) day period and has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. We happily welcome up to 2 small dogs (up to 25 lbs) with a $250 fee per pet, breed guidelines apply to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for everyone. The pool is heated from November 15th to April 15th. While the heater works to maintain comfortable temperatures, performance can vary during colder weather.

"Our family had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely amazing, beautifully maintained, and exceptionally clean. From the moment we walked in, the home had such a warm, welcoming, and positive energy. We felt comfortable right away and truly enjoyed our time in Siesta Key. The welcome cupcakes were specially thoughtful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area!

"This house was great for our week at Siesta Key! The house was very clean and spacious, and very well furnished and comfortable. The yard with the fire pit and putting green was awesome, and the pool was amazing. The location was very quiet and private, and just minutes from the village and beaches. The property management was great to work with and very quick to respond to my questions. We would love to stay here again!

"This home was quiet, clean and spacious. Great pool and fit perfectly for our group of 3 couples. Easy check-in and access to the property. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. The walkable beach they are referring to is VERY small, although you can easily drive to the beautiful Siesta Key beach and great restaurants! Would love to return and would rent this home again!

"We loved this house. It was clean, well kept and updated. We did have an issue with one of the fans but they came in same day and switched it out. Overall was a great stay, we will definitely be staying here again. The only downside, which i had read on others reviews was the washer/dryer combo. It was definitely more of an inconvenience than it was help as it took forever to do your laundry. Especially when you have 7 ppl there. Other than that it was a great stay.

"This was a long awaited family vacation and graduation celebration all rolled into one. The house was fantastic. Open floor plan, with everyone able to have their own space. The kitchen space was great to cook in, using the basic accessories. No matter, still very functional. Huge fridge and a really nice dish washer. Bring extra soap pods. Lots of time was spent in the heated pool and on the back patio. There was a Napoleon gas grill. Man, those grill nice! I have grill envy!! The location is very good. We were within 20 minutes of everything, really nice beaches, grocery shopping at Detwiler's Farm Market on Clark Rd., which is next China Wok & Cigar, Cigars. It would have been nice to be able to smoke a cigar by the fire pit, but we obeyed the rules. We went to the Nora Patterson Bay Island Park, which was five minutes from the house, for cigar time. Another nice touch was the bicycles, wagon & beach chairs. Inconclusion, we REALLY enjoyed our stay at The Cottages On The Key!

"The location and house are great for a visit to Sarasota. The walkable public access beach is just a tiny strip of sand at the end of a road, but it's a short drive (or tram ride) to Siesta Beach. The house works well for a large group, but it had a sparse feel with lots of empty cabinets and drawers. Our group had to wash the silverware after every meal, for example, to ensure we had silverware for the next meal. We didn't use the kayaks but did use the bikes (one was a little wonky). And we made extensive use of the beach toys, beach chairs and mat (stored in the garage).

"This property is absolutely beautiful! There is tons of space to spread out inside and out. It's close enough to the beach to go everyday but far enough away to feel secluded from the hustle and bustle. The pool area was exactly what we needed after a long day at the beach and the 2 tv areas were perfect for the kids And adults to wind down before bed without having to compromise on what to watch. The beds and pillows were super comfy and the house and grounds were very well maintained. Thanks for letting spend a week in your home!

"Two families, 9 of us, enjoyed our stay at Siesta Dolce. We were a bit hesitant to book a property that had only a few reviews, but we had a great experience. First, the rental company was fantastic. I had let them know ahead of time that we were celebrating a milestone birthday and they left a small surprise for the birthday guest at the house, which was a pleasant surprise upon arrival. We also had a maintenance issue at the house due to some heavy rain, and the company was easy to contact, very responsive, and handled the issue quickly and efficiently. The house itself was VERY clean. I can tell that a lot of effort goes into their cleaning process and we were appreciative of that. The two "master" bedrooms had adjustable beds that were very comfortable. Water pressure in all of the showers was excellent. The couches were comfortable, there were plenty of bathroom towels and the company put little starter kits in each bathroom as well as the kitchen with a small stock of basic supplies. Kitchen was well appointed but could probably use a few more non-breakable plates/cups for families staying with smaller kids. There was a rollaway bed in one of the master bedrooms that we also used. Tons of space for our families to spread out. The two "master" bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, which was nice. The bedroom with the two twin beds was kind of small, but perfect for two kids sharing the room. Lots of closet space and hangers. Neighborhood was quiet and the house is not on a busy street. The house had 16 beach towels and 8 beach chairs, plus a beach wagon, two coolers and two boogie boards. A prior review mentioned no hair dryers, but the rental company paid attention and each bathroom had a hair dryer. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed the back patio while we were there. The house itself is decorated beautifully, is well taken care of and is very comfortable. Shell Beach, which is in walking distance, is only about 75 feet wide, so more of a place to go have coffee in the morning and not a place to camp out at the beach all day. The only thing we didn't like about the house was the combo washer-dryer. It took forever to do a single load of laundry since you only had one machine to do both the washing and the drying. We made the best of it and did laundry essentially around the clock. If we return to Siesta Key, we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend it!

"We absolutely loved this stay and had an amazing winter break here! The house and the yard are beautiful- the neighborhood is quiet but close to everything we wanted- the pool was warm and an absolute blast- and the communication for checkin/questions etc with the managers was exceptional. We already booked again for next year. Thank you for an amazing vacation- we can't wait to come back!

"Gorgeous home. Lovingly restored terrazzo floors and decorated in shades of white, evoking a mid century Hollywood feeling. Billowing white curtains and expansive couches. This home is perfection. I'm local and I prefer the north end of siesta key as it is quieter. The home has everything you want (except a hair dryer). Two living areas, one sunken. Gorgeous pool area, and fully fenced in back yard. I brought my little corgi and she loves the place! The management is first rate. One of the outdoor lights was out and I texted them Saturday night: Sunday morning at 9:30 am it was fixed! This place has it all. It doesn't feel like a vacation rental but rather like a very elegant high-end home. Everything is brand new. 3 minute walk to a small beach (shell beach on shell road), perfect for watching sunsets before dinner. The home is on a quiet street on a large corner lot and very peaceful. Beds are very comfortable. I like to cook and the kitchen is well equipped with everything I needed. I'm in heaven! I recommend you stay here asap!!! Worth every penny.
