"Overall our family vacation was wonderful. We had some hiccups during our stay, which should be addressed before a new tenants rents the property. Issues consisting of regular daily maintenance. The issues were resolved by the property managers in a timely fashion.

"I brought my family down for vacation and we absolutely loved it here!! The house is pretty big with a private back yard area and pool which was nice. The location is great, it’s a 2-5 minute walk to the beach so you don’t need to worry about driving and finding a parking spot - there were never any spots to park so this was a huge bonus.
Our check in was super smooth and the host was very friendly and gave us the recommendation of a golf cart rental company to use. I would highly recommend getting a golf cart to cruise around town in, we used Robinhood rentals. It’s so much fun to ride around and see everything and go to the shops and restaurants in. Drive way was big enough for our two SUVs and two 6 seater golf carts.
House was super clean and had plenty of Linens and beach towels available! I would definitely stay here again, we all loved it and felt right at home!

"Great location and space ! We had a new maintenance issues but they were quick to respond and service the house. Walking distance to the beach and all the free bus transportation. If staying around the area you don't even need a rental car ! Pool & backyard was perfect for anyone staying at his home.

"This place was as advertised. Large and spacious. We rent a lot of places and this kitchen had more assortments of dishes/cutlery/silver/glassware than any other place we have stayed! The pool area was a great place to hang out when not going to the beach….that's conveniently right around the corner. There were a few issues that came up during our stay and their response time was remarkable with very friendly and knowledgeable support staff. We will probably rent this place again!

"We had a fantastic stay. This home is fully stocked with whatever you could possibly need, the location is fantastic (especially for beach days), and the neighborhood is lovely. We were a family of four adults but there is easily enough space for double. The heated pool was pristine and a nice alternative to the beach. The beach! It's an easy five-minute walk, and the provided buggies made it easy to haul all of our gear. You can walk to Siesta Key village for an afternoon or evening of shopping/dining. The home is spotless and the provided amenities were appreciated. We also loved the personalized cupcakes waiting for us. :-) The only caveat is that you are obviously surrounded by other houses that also have backyard spaces, and it can get loud (even at night). We were awoken a few times by the spring breakers two doors down, but overall, it was peaceful. We would definitely return!

"The owner provided additional items for us to use like wagons and beach chairs and floatation devices for the pool. This was really nice and made it feel like home. The management company left specialized cupcakes that were delicious. The bedrooms are very spacious and beds are comfortable. We had a large group which the dining table accommodated nicely. The house is roomy we never felt crowded. The location could not have been better. 1 block walk to the beach using the wagons to carry chairs and children. Town is a few blocks from the house with restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. Grocery stores and retail shopping are within 3 miles from the house. We will definitely be returning.

"What a wonderful property! Check in and check out were a breeze. A special touch of personalized cupcakes were waiting for us in the fridge. The house was clean and had everything we could have wanted, including pool floats, beach chairs, and umbrellas. For us the location and the pool were highlights of our stay here. The shaded wading area in the pool was perfect for lounging while our daughter played in the pool. The BBQ and TV in the pool area was perfect for nights we didn't feel like going out to a restaurant. Beach is a quick walk from the house and there are tons of restaurants in the neighborhood as well. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

"The house was exceptional inside and out. Very accurate pictures. We arrived just prior to tropical storm Debby which produced lots of flooding and problems in the area. The house weathered the storm well but caused some pool problems. The property management company was fantastic in response time and communication. I would definitely stay here again. 100 yards to the beach access and 0.6 miles to Siesta Key Village.

"Let me start this by saying I spent WEEKS researching places and booked another and immediately regretted it due to the management company communication - In the end we landed on Island Escape-638 with The Cottages on the Key! Stellar doesn't even begin to explain our experience with not only this home but the management company as well! We requested an early check in which they rushed to accomodate when they found out we landed at 11am. We pulled up just as the cleaning crew was pulling out and the house was perfect! We were even greeted with custom cupcakes which the girls loved. The house accommodated our family of 9 perfectly with ample space - we could have easily fit at least 4 more! When booking I knew something that was important to me was to have some of the necessities available without the need to purchase them- like a resort would provide. Each bath and the kitchen was stocked with a @getsojo kit which provided us shampoo conditioner, wipes, and dish soap and more. A huge plus so we could travel without these! Every bathroom was well stocked with ample towels - saying something considering our family size! The location is everything. We were perfectly located between beach access 10 and 11 - Our 7 kids ranging 8-17 didn't complain a bit! walk for our kids ranging age 8-17. Beach access 10 was a bit quieter but access 11 was must smoother and maintained as it is closer to the lifeguard tower. The garage was well stocked with everything we needed from floats, wagons, chairs to umbrellas. You don't even realize how much more enjoyable this makes your trip until you are there. The location was also perfectly situated to the village. It's amazing how much closer everything is once you are there rather than just looking at a map! I never realized how much we would use that outdoor shower but once you get to the beach you will realize how amazing the sand is and how it is quite possibly the finest sand on earth and you will appreciate that shower more than you know! The pool was also perfect and my husband and I spent every morning in the chair on the tanning deck drinking coffee. We did have a small issue with the AC on day 2 and there was a maintenance team member at the house within an hour unfortunately the attempted fix didn't work and a HVAC company needed to come the following morning but the quick response at 2am was much appreciated to know we were top priority. I share this because things happen out of our control and knowing there is a team there to respond 24 hours a day that will be sure to take care of anything you need was soooo reassuring! This trip was nothing short of amazing thanks to Island Escape 638 and Cottages on the Key

"Large and open. Definitely feels like your on vacation. Great location for beach. We were just disappointed that you cannot get in the property until 4pm and must check out by 10am. For the amount of $$ the house cost we feel these times should be more like check out 11/12 and def check in by 2pm. We felt that we really missed any time the first and last day. We will re-think our next trip.

"Stayed here with extended family over the holiday break. We had plenty of space for 10 people: 6 adults, 4 kids. The house is so close to the beach. We were able to go back and forth throughout the day. We also walked to and from town regularly. Location can't be beat! My only (minor) feedback is that the house was not equipped with anything food-wise. We realized a day in that we had no salt. I realize this is a post-COVID thing, but it would be great to have a starter kit for the kitchen.

"I will recommend this house to everyone! It's big, comfortable and situated in great location. I was impressed how clean this house was and furnished with taste. You will feel like at home. "House was large & had lots of room for 2 families. Loved having the pool & the beach toys/chairs/wagons were very helpful. We cooked a lot, so a few more kitchen towels, and storage containers would have been useful, as well as a broom. A very short walk to the beach & we could even rent chairs & umbrellas just on the other side of the lifeguard house.
