Casa De Mariposa | Heated Pool, Gulf Views, Dual-Villa Duplex, Walk to Siesta Key Beach

Why You'll Love This Home
Casa De Mariposa is a six-bedroom duplex on Siesta Key offering the rare flexibility of a full-property rental or two independent villas — Monarch and Peacock — each with its own kitchen, living space, and private entrance. Gulf views stretch from the second and third-floor balconies, a heated pool anchors the outdoor space, and Siesta Key Beach is just a short stroll away. For large groups who want proximity, privacy, and room to spread out, this property delivers on all three.

‍‍ Perfect For
Large families, multi-generational groups, and reunions looking for flexible accommodations with the option to keep two groups comfortably separate under one roof.

️ Imagine This
Morning starts with coffee on one of six private balconies, the Gulf glimmering in the distance as the day takes shape. A short walk brings you to Siesta Key Beach, where powdery white sand and calm Gulf water set the tone for the afternoon. Back at the property, the heated pool becomes the natural gathering point, some lounging, some competing at ping pong in the garages, everyone finding their rhythm. When the group reconvenes for the evening, Siesta Key Village is just down the road for dinner and a stroll through the shops. Later, each villa retreats into its own quiet corner of the property, a setup that makes large group travel feel easy rather than overwhelming.

"We enjoyed our stay, had a few issues come up but management was quick to respond and find excellent solutions. The house was exceptionally clean. We especially enjoyed the private pool and 5 minute walk to the beach. It is close to siesta village so expect lots of cars driving by at all hours, it was a little hard to sleep for our sensitive sleepers. Even so we would recommend staying here!

We’re also glad our team was able to respond quickly and find solutions when a few issues arose during your stay. We appreciate your feedback regarding the road noise, particularly for lighter sleepers. Thank you for your understanding and for still recommending the home despite this. We had everything we needed!

Review Date: September 4, 2025

"We had everything we needed! The beach was walking distance! The kids enjoyed the swimming pool! The condo was big enough for 10 of us because we got both sides! We were walking distance from uptown to any shops-restaurants and of course ice cream!

The location of this property is perfect

Review Date: August 9, 2024

"The location of this property is perfect -- close to the beach and within walking distance of the Village. The accommodations are spacious, and the property is outfitted with everything a large family could need. When we had questions, Cottages on the Key responded quickly and promptly resolved our minor issues. "Charles" was especially gracious, making us feel welcome and comfortable.

Wonderful communication from property management company.

Review Date: July 17, 2024

"Wonderful communication from property management company. Home was well kept and fully loaded, location couldn't have been better for ease to beach and the local village. Our favorite part was the bikes on site, we used them every day, multiple times of day and really added to the sweetness of our stay here. Our family made memories for a lifetime and for that we are extremely grateful. Thank you!

Would love to stay again!

Review Date: July 16, 2024

"Would love to stay again! This property has a great location. It was easy to get to both the beach and town. We did use go carts for quick trips, but it is walkable (about 10-15 min). The kids loved the pool and there was ample shade in the courtyard.
